Maths Challenge

Six children attended the annual Maths Challenge at Budmouth College last week, competing against ten other local primary school teams. Tasks included – code breaking, problem solving and algebra, with all points awarded being collated to find the overall winner. Civic Award Presentation

Ten Year 6 children completed their Civic Award Challenge during their last year at Southill School, and attended a presentation evening at St Andrews School last week. The mayor of Weymouth and Portland, Richard Kosier, attended the event and presented the children with their certificates, congratulating all participants on their successful completion of the Award. more »
