Team Reception has had a very busy week with Sports Day, assembly, writing instructions for pirates, working on our taking away and making treasure maps! Rounders Competition On a scorching hot Thursday afternoon, 12 children took part in a rounders competition at Budmouth College. Donning the Southill blue t-shirts, the children meant business as they awaited their first game of the afternoon. We have been learning about living things and their habitats and about classification. Today we were focusing on invertebrates. We searched for invertebrates in our local environment and then used the classification key to identify them and to write a classification report.
