London Trip – Day 1

The coach trip to London went extremely well. The children were very well behaved.

We arrived at the Science Museum at around 11.45am. We had lunch and then split into groups and visited lots of exhibitions. We all met up at 2.00pm to go into the Launch pad – a hands on site with over 50 interactive exhibits, which was enjoyed by all. From there it was down to the shop and a short walk to the hotel which was just around the corner.

The evening meal wasn’t too bad – pasta and turkey meatballs with mixed vegetables and salad. After tea we then went on the night tour around London.

Bedtime and lights out at 9.50pm.

Launchpad was really exciting because it was hands on science experiments – Sam T. year 6

I loved the planes and flight information – Elsie Year 5

London day 1

The night tour was cool, we saw the Olympic stadium, Aquatic centre and walked across the Millennium Bridge – Sam A. Year 6

    What about the veggie meal?!

    • Kate Clark 19 March 2013 at 10:18am #

Just pasta & salad perhaps? Josh will starve!

      • Alex Smith 19 March 2013 at 11:39am #

Wow! This website is fantastic as we are the first group of parents to be able to have these kind of updates. It is so reassuring to know what food (luckily I know Kelly will enjoy meatballs) and to see pictures of smiley faces. Technology is so good for this kind of thing.

    • Mrs Bolton 19 March 2013 at 10:41am #

There are vegetarian options at each meal.

      • Elaine Pullen 19 March 2013 at 15:51pm #

Thanks Mrs Bolton, I know, just wondered what it was! Quorn ‘meat’balls maybe?! Blog and website are both great!
