Eye of Newt and Toe of Frog
This morning, Year 4 began brewing their very own potions! We discussed all the ingredients available and categorized them into solids, liquids and gases. The children wrote a set of instructions on how to brew the potion they had created and they had to consider what they intended to put into the potion in order to make it the right colour and consistency.
It was great seeing the children experimenting with various different scientific equipment and ingredients. Take a look at the video below which shows the children making their potions…
