The End of Year Three…
Where on earth has this year gone? I can honestly say it has been memorable and the children have been incredible. From Carey Camp to Medieval Day, golf and tennis competitions to wonderful workshops at WOEC, it really has been a year to treasure.
Below is a poem all about our time in Year Three along with some photographs of just how much the children (and I) have grown up and matured since the start of the year…enjoy!
Year Three Poem
You are all very special children
And you all should know,
How I loved to have you in my class
My goodness how fast did this year go?
Please come back and visit me
As through the school you’ll go,
Try hard to learn all that you can
There’s so much to know.
We’ve had some amazing memories
Do you all remember the Carey Camp trip?
Even though sometimes you were excitable
Your tents were not a tip.
And then there was Arts Week
Where you produced all kinds of magic,
The thought of us not doing that again
Does seem a little tragic!
And of course who can forget playing golf and tennis
Where you all represented the school well,
It just really does go to show
You’re very determined, you can tell.
My favourite part this year however
Is getting to know all of you,
You all mean the world to me
And I hope you feel the same too.
But now it’s time to say goodbye
You’ve got a busy journey ahead,
Mr. Prior has had an eventful year
And it’s definitely time for bed.
I am so proud of all of you
You’ve done the best you can,
Luckily you enjoyed my teaching
Which all went according to plan.
One thing I’ve tried to teach you
To last your whole life through,
Is to know that you are incredible
Just because, you are you!
I’m going to miss all of you,
Although don’t be sad,
It’s time to annoy your parents
and begin to make them mad!
