Spellings and Mental Maths

Spellings

Last week we looked at the suffix -ly. This week we are still looking at the suffix -ly but when it is added to a word that ends in ‘y’ – you have to drop the ‘y’ and replace it with -ily.

For example happy – happily

angry – angrily

merry – merrily

crazy – crazily

hungry – hungrily

Mental Maths

In maths this week we have been counting in 50s. Practise counting in 50s from 0 to 1000. This is quite tricky. Good luck!
