We are feeling inspired by our new text – Snail Trail by Ruth Brown. It is a great story about a snail on a big adventure.

In our drawing club we drew his adventure, then wrote sentences to describe where he went.

We have found out some interesting facts about snails too – do you know where their eyes are?

Today we were artists, finding out about a famous picture called The Snail, by Henri Matisse. We used tearing techniques to create our collage pictures and create an art gallery.

I hope that I don’t have too many snails visiting my garden this weekend!
