As we reach the end of another busy half term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and thank everyone who has made these past weeks so successful.
Highlights from This Half Term
- Learning and Achievement: Our pupils, from Reception through to Year 6, have shown fantastic enthusiasm and resilience in their learning. We’re all so proud of the progress each child has made. It was great to share this with you at the parents’ evenings.
- Special Events: We enjoyed Maths Day, VE Day, MH Awareness Week and Walk to School Week. Thank you to staff, pupils and families for your support and participation. These events help make Southill Primary such a vibrant and welcoming school.
Looking Ahead
After a well-deserved break, we’ll return on Tuesday 3 June. We’re looking forward to:
- Finding out all about our new projects and learning
- Empathy Day
- Year 6 residential to St Ives and Primary College
- Sports Week
- FOSS Summer Fayre
- Year 5 residential to St Briavels
- Continuing to work together to ensure every child feels happy, confident and inspired to learn.
Thank You and Happy Half Term!
Thank you once again for your continued support. I wish all our families a restful and enjoyable half-term break.
With very best wishes
Caroline
