We were tour guides today for Reception Class. We welcomed them into our class museum, based around our Great Fire of London topic. We displayed books we had written, fire marks we had made, a model of Pudding Lane and even our designs of how we would have rebuilt the city. There was a demonstration by Ophelia and Noah on how the fire spread so fast and what people did to slow the spread and we even had some special ‘time travellers’ (George and Rowan) who came to talk about life during the great fire.
Year 2 did a fantastic job of welcoming our visitors and sharing their learning with them. It was a please to have Reception come to visit. We will have to see if we can do it again soon!
Thank you Year 2. Marley loved coming to your museum snd seeing his sister. He has been reciting some of the facts he heard at home.
