Why This Class Will Stay With Me Forever

Why This Class Will Stay With Me Forever

Mrs. Murray and I cannot thank you enough for your incredibly generous gifts, thoughtful cards, and kind words. You’ve also very kindly brought in an abundance of food and drink which I am sure we will devour during our feast this afternoon.

The past two years have truly been magical. This has been the first class I’ve had the privilege of teaching for two consecutive years and I feel a deep connection to each and every one of the children.

They have brought so much joy, energy and laughter into the classroom, making my job the most rewarding experience imaginable. I will miss them dearly next year. Their enthusiasm, humour, and unforgettable personalities have left a lasting impression on me.

As my own son starts school this September, I can only hope he is lucky enough to be part of a class as caring and special as this one — if he is, I’ll consider myself a very fortunate dad indeed.

I’ve put together a video that I hope captures just how epic the past two years have been for us all.

We’ve had such a lovely final few days together — full of laughter, a few tears and so many fond memories.

Wishing you all a fantastic summer break and the very best of luck in Year 6!

Tom

Honestly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and incredible teaching that Toby has received the last two years. He has absolutely loved every second of coming to school.
So a big thank for all the hard work you have put in.
    From the Besants 🙂
