Home Learning

10th July

Fantastic Friday!

Phonics: Letters and Sounds lesson 54. Longer words again today.

Picture of the day: Hopefully this will make us laugh today! This is from another great book called The Man on the Moon.

Have some fun writing about these today. You could make up names for the aliens and write a description of them.

Maths: White Rose Maths Day 5. The dinosaur that pooped a planet.

There is an exciting volcano experiment today! You can also design your own planet!

Other Activities

Drawing challenges: Put out a selection of shaped paper today to encourage different ideas – different sizes of circles would be good for planets. Or try jagged edges or wiggly edges on your paper.

Why not draw some aliens or planets?

Here is another Draw with Rob if you would like to try one.

Getting Outside: Take your magic viewers outside today and see what the world looks like in different colours!

Re-visiting: Remember to try some of the activities from earlier this week again. Which ones did you enjoy? Which activities could you try again?

I think I would try the loose parts shiny play again, as well as some tin foil craft. I would also take my space toys and aliens outside again. What would you try?

Funny Friday: Have some fun singing and dancing.
