Maths No Problem

1st the answers from Wed 13th Chp 9 Lesson 8

Today’s lesson: Chapter 9     Money  Lesson 9  CONSOLIDATION

Lesson Objective: To be able to use knowledge of money to solve problems

Textbook pages:  85 – 86     Workbook pages   58

Lesson Notes: Mind Workout
Pupils calculate how many treats Hannah bought with £43.80 based on the prices shown.

Maths Journal
Pupils make a list of about five of their favourite foods and their prices, then use this list to create a story problem for their friends to solve.

Self Check
Pupils complete this as a chapter summary and discuss what to do with their teacher if any boxes are not ticked.

Mental Maths / Arithmetic

Please don’t forget to read today. ‘The more you read, the more you know. The more you know, the more places you will go.’ You should be able to access the book quizzes and don’t forget to go on Lexia (if you have a log in) for 15 minutes each day. Well done everyone.
