Easter Ideas

Here are some ideas of activities you could try during the 2-week Easter break. Please do not feel you have to try all of these – they are just here in case you need some ideas. Some are links to websites and some are pictures of ideas.

Lists and activities to choose from. Find a few activities you could enjoy together at home.

Playdough: Try making some playdough at home – here is a simple recipe. You can also find a recipe and video if you look on the BBC Good Food website. Have fun making your own creations.

Webcams: Visit these animal webcams and chat about what you can see.

Maths: Visit White Rose Maths and look back to the activities from week 1 – an Easter theme. Don’t move on to any other new learning yet – just try these Easter activities.

Espresso: This is a great website but there is so much on there, so just try the following suggestions.

1: Click on Foundation – Understanding the World – Easter. Explore these Easter themed resources.

2: Click on Foundation – Literacy – Handwriting – videos. Explore to help with handwriting.

Phonics Play: Try this to help with phonics and reading.

Choose a game then choose phase 3 – if prompted for a choice, focus on digraphs and trigraphs or ‘revise all phase 3’. A favourite of mine is Buried Treasure.
