Spellings

This week spellings are words that we will be using in our writing. These words are from our class story and we will be using them this week. These are not tricky words, therefore the children can sound them out. However, it would be a great support if you could learn these words, spelt correctly so that your child is able to write them quickly and accurately.

Over the past few weeks we have been looking at addition and subtraction. At home have a go at writing some number sentences for your child to try. Some with + and some with -.

Muddle them up to make sure that they are looking carefully at the symbol, this is something that we easily muddle as we get more confident and speedy!!
