This week in year 1 please practise these spellings at home

These words are in our class story which we will be writing up over the next few weeks. They all have the suffix -ed at the end which we have been learning about. By the end of Year 1 children should be able to apply -ed to the end of verbs to show that the action has already happened.
Spellings will be tested on Friday 4th February.
Maths
This week in Maths we have been looking at comparing measurements using the vocabulary of longer, shorter and taller.
It is really important that we know that longer and shorter are used when measuring length, and taller and shorter are used when measuring height. We do NOT use the word ‘bigger’.
