Spellings

This half term we will continue working through all of the Year 1 common exception words. These are the words that your child is expected to be able to spell by the end of  Year 1 according to the National Curriculum. The list has been sent home several times throughout the year, so the words will be familiar.

Maths

This week maths is all about days of the week. Please support your child at home to learn how to write the days of the week, as well as order them. We talk about this at school a lot so hopefully it won’t be to tricky.

I will be asking children questions like…

Which day comes after Sunday?

Which day is before Friday? etc.
