English task

For today’s task, we would like you to have a look at some of the interesting words in the story we were learning last week ‘The Myth of Pandora’s Box’ and to have a go at putting these words in alphabetical order in your writing book.

Have a look at the link below (Day 6) for the words we would like you to use, see if you can find them in the story and then watch this video (bbc bitesize) about alphabeticalorder before having a go.

Maths task

Here are the answers to Friday’s worksheet:

Today we would like you to have a go at Lesson 3 on page 21 of the Textbook. It is all about counting money in coins and using the symbols for pounds (£) and pence (p).

First, cover the ‘Let’s Learn’ section of the page and then have a go at the ‘In Focus’ task. Then, uncover the ‘Let’s Learn’ section and compare the way they solved the problem to the way you did.

After, have a go at the ‘Guided Practice’ by adding up the coins and writing the amount and then drawing the coins to show the amount. (Please do not draw or write in the Textbook.)

Finally, complete pages 23 and 24 of the Workbook.
