If your child is able to spell these words on their own, please support them to apply them in context. For example writing instructions together for ‘How to brush your teeth’. The extra support at home really does have a huge impact on their writing in class – thank you for you support!

Maths

Each child has been sent home with a 100 square in their book bag. Please support you child at home finding different numbers, looking at how many ‘tens’ it has to support finding the correct row quickly and efficiently. Talk to them about the amount of ‘tens’ and ‘ones’ that each number has, for example

‘Can you tell me the difference between 22 and 32?’
