This morning, Year 4 had the pleasure of a visit from Bank of Dreams and Nightmares! They participated in a writing workshop, creating persuasive speeches!
First, the children had to pick an animal that represented how they were feeling, from bold lions to graceful butterflies, busy bees to slithery snakes, and then channel their inner campaigners! The challenge? To convince their class that their animal would make the best leader!
They each wrote a persuasive speech, filled with strong reasons, powerful language and even a catchy slogan! The hall quickly turned into a jungle of debate and creativity! The children spoke with confidence and it was amazing to see their personalities shine through!
Thank you again, Bank of Dreams and Nightmares! You were amazing!
