Adventure at Sandy Cove – The Performance

Adventure at Sandy Cove

Over the past few weeks, the children have been brushing up on their story writing. A huge part of Talk for Writing is learning a bank of stories using text mapping. By learning a story, children:

-develop their intonation, volume and facial expressions

-learn how to structure stories into paragraphs

-understand new vocabularyย

This will most certainly help children when planning their own finding tale (focusing on building suspense). I am sure you’ll agree that Year 4 have, once again, smashed it out of the park with their performance.

Well done, Year 4!
