Digestive Designs

This half term, we have learnt all about different aspects of the human body. Our teeth, our ears and our digestive system! We have learnt how food travels through our digestive system and what each organ does to help us digest the food that we eat.

Today, the children finished their Digestion t-shirts and I must say they look wicked. It has really brightened up the classroom seeing so many organs in luminous colours! Hopefully this memorable experience will help the children remember how food travels through the digestive system (and what happens to it along the way).

The children have LOVED decorating their t-shirts in order to finish the topic off in style and they cannot wait to wear them home on Friday! Be prepared at the gates…
