We have had another amazing week in Year 5 the highlights of which have been launching rockets with a visitor, cracking short multiplication and division, completing amazing Cold Tasks, working on our balancing and designing and making our own rockets to launch next week!
As part of our Design and Technology Stargazers project, we have explored existing rockets and looked at how they are built and launched. We the n used this research to design our own rockets using the same criteria. Have a look at our designs, they are brilliant! Our finished rockets need a few final adjustments to make them launch ready, then watch this space for launching next week!
We have also completed our Gymnastics project using all our skills of travel, balance and positioning to create sequences of movement using the equipment. What poise you have Year 5!
