Ingenious Inventions

Ingenious Inventions

Drawing inspiration from Wallace & Gromit, our topic this half term is called ‘Cracking Contraptions’. We will dig deeper into just how a wide range of things work!

This afternoon, the children had a challenging task indeed…They were required to choose five British inventions (out of 50) that they feel are the most important creations every to be invented.

From the World Wide Web to the chocolate bar, fire extinguisher to the hip replacement, the children had to explain their answers very clearly and justify their selections.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon! Who would have thought a chocolate bar would be deemed more important than the light bulb!
