Performance Poetry 

This half term, we have been busy learning a poem written by Benjamin Zephaniah called ‘People Need People’. It’s a heartwarming, uplifting poem which the children have really enjoyed learning and performing.

I’ve been so impressed with how quickly the children learnt the poem and the confidence in their performance is outstanding. We were so impressed with the childrens’ performance that we intent to enter it in the ‘National Poetry Competition’.

We hope you enjoy watching the poem as much as the children enjoyed performing it! A huge thank you to Mrs. Symonds for kindly filming our performance.
