For a few weeks now we have had a Poetry Thursday slot in Year 4. A fantastic opportunity for children to recite a poem that they particularly like, that has caught their eye, or even to test out some of their very own poetry.

This week we heard I’m Funny – Don’t Forget to Laugh and The Farm Animals, written by themselves.  It’s always a real treat to see how enthusiastic the children are and how much they look forward to reciting, creating and listening to poetry that we share during this time.
