Practice Makes Perfect

It’s been another busy week in Year Two.

During our ‘Beat Band Boogie’ project lessons, we’ve been counting syllables, writing verses and playing chime bars to create a brand new Christmas song. Keep a look out on the school website as all will be revealed very soon!

During our PE sessions, we’ve been continuing to practise our netball skills. We’ve been moving in different ways, dodging, throwing and catching.

In English, we found some objects in the story bag which gave us clues to the our new warning story – ‘Kassim and the Greedy Dragon.’ We’ve been thinking about how the author creates suspense by acting out different scenes and putting ourselves in role as the main character, Kassim.

In Maths, we’ve been continuing to understand multiplication as well as practising and learning our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.

Happy weekend Class Two!
