What an amazing day we’ve had! Today, our dedicated readers and incredible Word Millionaires zoomed off to Ringos at Warmwell for a day packed with fun, laughter and adventure.

Who came along?
We were joined by:

• Our amazing Word Millionaires – children who have read over a million words this year!
• Pupils chosen for their dedication and commitment to reading – always eager for the next chapter and showing real perseverance.

What did we get up to?
Under the glorious sunshine, everyone had the chance to:

• Zoom down the slopes on the colourful Ringos, racing their friends
• Cheer each other on and celebrate every speedy slide
• Soak up the sunshine, fresh air and fantastic company

Why did we go?
We wanted to reward our children who have gone above and beyond in their reading this year. Whether you’ve been racing through novels or showing incredible determination to reach your reading goals, today was all about recognising your passion and effort.

We’re so proud of all our readers at Southill Primary. Whether you’re a Word Millionaire or someone who just loves to curl up with a good book, your enthusiasm makes our school a wonderful place to learn and grow.
