Star in this week’s ‘End of the Week Video’

A new week = a new theme for our End of the Week Video!  We were thrilled to read comments of how many children enjoyed either watching and/or taking part in our video last week, it seemed to provide a nice way for us all to keep in touch and stay connected during this period of time and to remind us all that we’re not alone – we are a school community! Therefore we plan to do the same this week, if you’d like to take part our theme will be keeping active.  Please email any photos/videos that you’d like to be included over to us at media@southill.dorset.sch.uk where we will do our best to squeeze them all in.  Please remember though that in order to include as many children as we can we may only be able to include one photo per child.

Keeping ourselves active by some form of exercise is an important part of staying healthy and is also good for our minds and general wellbeing.  It’s not as easy as it could be at the moment, however we’ve heard that many of us are finding fun and new ways to keep moving and to keep fit.  We’d love to see what you’ve all been up to and this might also inspire others to do the same, varying the activities that we can do at home.

Top tip from Mrs Symonds: if taking photos/filming content using a mobile phone, having your phone landscape means that it will fit our video perfectly without borders and that pictures don’t need to be cropped too much.

Well done everybody and thank you, as always, for your support.
