We’ve had a fantastic time at Tumbledown. After meeting Alan and being guided through the site to the new classroom we followed a trail around the site finding and identifying all the plants that grow there. We then put all the parts of a plant together and learned about what each part does. After that we looked at the beans inside a bean pod and some of us ate them – they were yummy! Next we went up to the garden to plant beans, sunflowers and foxgloves. The beans will grow up the sunflowers. After our picnic lunch we walked back through the woods.
