Turning White Flowers Blue…

What happens when a white flower is given coloured water?  This was the focus of our science this week and what a suprise for the children!  They were amazed by the results – ask them to explain what happened…

In other areas of the curriculum we have been making observational drawings of flowers and using water colours to add colour and texture.  Planting sunflower seeds – who do you think will grow the tallest plant or largest flower?  Continuing with work on fractions – finding thirds, quarters and three quarters.  And continuing to expand our writing skills in English innovating our class story and writing new beginnings and endings.

What a busy week!

Have a great weekend everyone.  We are really looking forward to our trip out next Tuesday.
