Videos: ‘Schoolreaders’ Storytime

Here at Southill we are very lucky to welcome reading volunteers from the Schoolreaders charity to our classes every week, they are a highly valued resource and are always very popular as the children really enjoy their visits and very much look forward to seeing and reading with them.

Many of their wonderful volunteers are missing seeing us all, as we are them, during this current period of time.  To help make up for this they have recorded a few videos for us all to enjoy while we are unable to physically meet.  The stories below are read by Kathy Thompson, who is a reading volunteer in Essex.  There are also some activities that children may wish to get involved with too.

We hope to see our volunteers back in school very soon!
