Whatever Next!

How exciting to be back at school! We kicked off our new topic, Starry Night, with the story Whatever Next!

Here we are drawing what we can see through a telescope, reading the story, space themed play and rocket building! We are also learning about nocturnal animals, such as foxes, owls, badgers and hedgehogs!

We have also started a new P.E theme in the hall – exploring large apparatus. This helps us develop our core strength and build our muscles.

Look at the different ways we are moving – sliding, stepping, balancing, jumping and landing. Next week we will add in some other equipment such as stools and ramps.

We have been so busy, even after three days back at school. In addition to this we have made mini dens outside for toy people, revised our phonics learning, drawn self portraits and so much more!
