Maths

This week we have been learning about subtraction. We have learnt 2 new methods – subtracting by crossing out and subtracting on a number line.

Please use the number line sent home previously to practice over the next week – focusing on jumping down carefully, only one number at a time and talking about how the number is getting smaller as you do this. We are going to be looking at word problems next, so it is important that you child is confident with different methods when approaching these.
