Bookflix: Cracking Good Reads SPECIAL Edition!

?BOOKFLIX is BACK! We are thrilled and incredibly honoured to be able to share this very special Cracking Good Reads video with you all featuring one of our favourite stories Be More Bernard by Simon Philip! Being a school who thrives on reading and with our hugely popular Bookflix scheme very much part of our everyday lives here at Southill, we were determined to keep this going the best way that we could, in whatever form we could manage.

We hope that the children enjoy this extra special video which has been recorded and produced just for them. We are enormously grateful to Simon for his time to help us with this, ‘Be More Bernard’ holds a special place in our hearts with an important message that we can all relate to. During a recent whole school assembly many of us chose to reflect with comments such as ‘Be more YOU!’, ‘It’s great to be different’ and ‘Never be afraid to be yourself’. Very wise words that we all need to remember, especially at the moment. It would be great to know what they think so please feel free to leave a comment below or over on our social media channels.
