Brilliant Book Week

It’s been Book Week this week and we’ve loved seeing all of your creations and hearing about your favourite books and places to read. Many of you had a go at making a toilet roll character for one of your favourite books and they look great! Have a look below.

We’ve also started our new topic this week, Coastline, and many of you have got in touch to say how much you’re already enjoying it and how lucky we are to live on the coast. Indeed we are! If you do take a visit to the local coast in the next few days or weeks, please have a go at completing the physical and human features spotting sheet that we attached to the project learning in google classrooms on Wednesday 3rd March. It’ll be great to find out what you discover.

We’ve also started a new topic in Maths, learning about 2D and 3D shape and we were very impressed with the models and shapes you made from everyday objects. Have a look at the photos below.

In English we’ve continued to learn about information texts about witches and we’ve been so impressed with your creativity when designing your own witches – from forest witches, to ocean witches, to lava witches, to mountain witches – we’re not sure we’d like to come across any of these any time soon!

As you know, this week was our last week of remote learning and we’re so pleased we’ll all be back together at school next week. We’d just like to say a huge well done to you and a huge thank you to your parents and carers for all of your hard work, dedication and support during such difficult times. We’re proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see you all next week.

Have a happy and safe weekend.
