Class Two – Star Learners

What a busy couple of weeks it’s been!

Once again, Class Two, you’ve really impressed us with your resilience and enthusiasm towards the learning tasks.

We’ve seen some eloquent elf letters and your elf suit designs have been imaginative and thoughtfully planned. You’ve had some wonderful ideas for your new ‘Elves and the Shoemaker’ story and the story maps have been excellently put together. You taken time and care over writing your new stories which are fantastic!

After being ‘hands on’ with measuring and comparing volume in maths last week, we’ve seen and heard about your resilience when solving tricky word problems this week. What resourceful learners you’ve been, tackling addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in many different ways. A big thank you to your parents and carers for supporting and encouraging you with this.

You’ve continued to tackle our ‘Wriggle and Crawl’ topic with enthusiasm and we’ve seen some marvellous mini-beast houses, some creative creature designs and some logical life cycle diagrams.

We’ve also enjoyed seeing and hearing all about many of the other things you’ve been doing as well as the new skills you’ve been learning.

Please have a look at the video and photos below. We think you’ll be just as impressed as we are!

We’d like to say a huge thank you to your parents and carers for supporting and encouraging you with all the home learning tasks, for keeping in touch and for sharing the wonderful things you’ve been doing. You should all be very proud of yourselves.

Although the way the home learning tasks will be set after half term will be different, we are sure you will all continue to tackle them with the same enthusiasm and resilience as you have so far. You really are all ‘Star Learners’ Class Two.

Have a well-deserved half term break.

We hope you and your families stay safe and well.

Best wishes

Mrs Murray and Mrs Clark

Tia’s been hard at work whilst learning a new skill.
