Classifying Sea Creatures

We delved a little deeper into the abyss yesterday afternoon as the children were tasked with classifying a range of sea creatures They did this using a classification key and online sources. From green turtles to dolphins, manta rays to tiger sharks. It certain was an eye-opening afternoon filled with discoveries and the children began to learn the difference between:

-Reptiles

-Fish

– Cnidarians

-Molluscs

-Arthropods

Well done, Year 4. Maybe we are looking at future marine biologists…
