As we all know, every day is a book day here at Southill Primary!  However, let’s have some fun to celebrate World Book Day…

We invite children to take part in our Dress a Potato competition, decorating as their favourite character from a book.  This may sound a little crazy, but we hope should prove lots of fun and a good chance to get creative! (We’ve seen many ideas online should you need a little help or inspiration).

Please bring all characters to school on World Book Day (Thursday 5th March) where they will be displayed in our hall and will feature in a special assembly that day.  Our Reading Champions will have the difficult task of judging all entries – first place will win a book token!

Good luck, have lots of fun and we can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
