Fantastic Fireworks

This week we have explored colour and sparkles in our learning, finding out about bonfire night and fireworks.

We made our own sparklers, created patterns, painted glittery firework pictures and made firework sounds together.

We all enjoy playing and exploring outside and we were very excited to find so many beautiful leaves this week. One of our trees looks like a fire tree because of all of the coloured leaves! Here are some photos of us having fun with the leaves.

Another great week in Reception.

George tells us that he really liked making firework pictures and is loving learning a new sound each day. I often hear him sounding out different words as he’s playing around the house – he’s truly inspired! Thanks Mrs Puddick and Mrs Kench.

Thank you so much Mrs Puddick & Mrs Kench, we have one very happy boy, I am thrilled to see him so excited about reading and learning. He finds it fun and has picked up his sounds so quickly, wondering around the house singing his phonics songs, or sounding out and having a go at reading signs or words around him, it is amazing to hear. Thank you for making learning so wonderful & inspiring their growing minds.
