What a brilliant first few days back we’ve had Year 3! We have learned so much already including how many layers the Earth has in our Geography lesson, how to multiply by 3 in Maths and in our writing lesson we successfully learnt how to use expanded noun phrases! I am so proud of you all and really looking forward to the term ahead!

We had a fantastic gymnastics lesson. First, we familiarised ourselves with the shapes: straight/stretch, tuck, star, straddle and pike. We then worked in small teams to create symmetrical balances using these shapes. Finally we created symmetrical balances on the equipment: the mats, benches and bars. It was a super start to our gymnastic lessons this term!
