It was fantastic to be back in the library with the Reading Champs! It was our first meeting of the new year and we welcomed lots of new champs. Everyone was given a badge so they can be recognised as a Reading Champ and we talked about what Reading Champs do such as recommending books to others and looking after our books in school. An important job for a champ is choosing new books. Each week we will look at books online and decide if we would like to buy them for our library. This week we linked up with children’s author Alex Willmore who read us his latest book Spyceratops. We loved it and will definitely be buying a copy. The champs are keen to share it with everyone else.
