It was a super meeting today. First of all we enjoyed a great story together – The Bowerbird by Julia Donaldson. We loved reading aloud together and really enjoyed Julia Donaldson’s rhymes. We thought up some more rhyming things that the bowerbird might have collected. We also talked about the setting for the story (we knew the trees listed weren’t British trees!)

Afterwards we chose our latest recommendations for the big screen in the hall – look out for these after half term.
