Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

On Remembrance Day, we remember all those whose lives have been affected by conflict since World War 1, and those who have died in particular. Southill have been raising money for the Poppy Appeal all week and participated in the 1-minute silence today at 11.00am. Classes have also learnt a little bit about Remembrance Day, the importance of learning from the past and doing everything we can to support those were impacted by war.

In true Southill style, the children conducted themselves brilliantly when learning about this annual event and reflected maturely during the scheduled silence.

Every year at Southill, without fail, we remember them.
