Following on from our very successful Shakespeare productions here at Southill Primary, this year we are thrilled to have been invited to participate in the ‘Shakespeare by the Sea Festival’ taking place at Weymouth Pavilion on Wednesday 7th February!

This unique opportunity will provide our Y3/4 classes with the experience of performing live on a stage within a working theatre, joined by two other local primary schools. Our Southill pupils will tell the story of Romeo and Juliet, having previously explored and produced productions of The Tempest and Macbeth here at school in 2022/3.

To enable this wonderfully exclusive opportunity to take place and to make participation possible, all three primary schools involved are looking for sponsors for this particular event. We are hoping to hear from businesses who would welcome the opportunity with good exposure, including connections by supporting us.
