The Unfair Game – Maths Edition!

The Unfair Game

As it is ‘Sports Week’, the children were still feeling fiercely competitive. The children therefore, once again, split into their house teams in order to participate in ‘The Unfair Game’ during our maths lesson. The aim of the game was to choose a question between 1-20, answer it and then decide whether or not as a team they wanted to keep the points or give them to another team. The only problem is that the children did not know whether the points were positive or negative!

It was a great game and team Phoenix were in last place for the entirety of the quiz. Then suddenly on the final question, Phoenix answered the problem correctly, kept the points and won the game!

A really fun and exciting way to reflect on everything we have learnt so far this term in maths. Well done, Year 4.
