It has been wonderful to see your children back refreshed and ready to learn! They have done really well engaging in our new geography topic, coastlines and are showing me that they know the difference between a physical feature and a human feature.  They are also more confident maths as we continue the unit, Volume, Capacity and Measurement.  They are learning to measure in millilitres and litres and can explain the difference between volume and capacity.
We have also begun a new writing focus around the story The Magic Brush.  The children have been retelling the story while learning the actions.

It has been a very enjoyable first week back.
