A Valiant Effort from Southill Boys

A Valiant Effort from Southill Boys

In the bitter cold, the boys were up on the pitch, ready to play their next league match of the season- against Conifers.

It’s safe to say that Conifers were an extremely good team. In the first half, we found ourselves only 3-0 down and we had a number of chances to score.

In the second half, Southill had two early chances, one from a corner and another from a through ball. Once Conifers settled themselves and found their rhythm however, they managed to score 4 more making the final score 7-0.

I am so proud of the team today. They do say however that you can only become a better player if you play against tough opposition. Speaking of which, next up we have Radipole (winners of the football tournament earlier in the year).

Heads up boys. Your represented the school very well!
