All the fun of the Christmas Fayre!

What a wonderfully festive time we all had at our Christmas Fayre yesterday, with huge thanks to members of FOSS for organising another super event for us all to enjoy.  From our community bottle raffle, chocolate tombola (just how much chocolate can you fit on one stall? I think we smashed the record!), ‘pin the bow tie on Mr Price’, Christmas cafe, Spinning Jenny, toys, face painting, present wrapping, our grand Southill Raffle (the prizes were pretty impressive this year), our independent traders with quality handmade items (one in aid of Weldmar) and books – not forgetting Santa’s Grotto with his hard-working elves (who did look vaguely familiar) .. we had it all and these are just the highlights!

After looking around at the many smiley, happy faces from children and adults alike, one thing is clear to note: we are pretty good at putting on a Fayre here at Southill.  Teamwork is most definitely the answer, we are grateful to all our volunteers, parents, carers, relatives and staff who put in the time to make this event such a success.

There were far too many photos to pick just a few to share, so here is a stack for you all to enjoy.

Wishing everybody a very Happy Christmas, we hope that you had as much fun as we did!  Stay tuned for a grand total of just how much we raised for our school.
