What a fantastic week in Year 5! We have worked really well on our listening skills this week to produce some amazing learning.  We have been innovating our Quest Tale and written some great pieces of writing using all the tools we have practiced over the last few weeks.  We have also started our addition and subtraction unit and are working with numbers into the 100,000s!

Continuing our Greek topic, we have looked into how men and women lived differently in Ancient Athens.  We were so shocked to discover the woman of the house needed permission from her husband to leave and visit a friend or go to the Agora!

We have also been having great fun in P.E. using our balance and bouncing skills to create a pretty awesome performance – watch this space…!
