Dragons! We shared the story of Zog and have had fun playing at dragon school, magical dragon settings and painting a whole school of dragons together!
We were excited to unpack a large delivery in our classroom. We now have 3 new trollies to make accessing some resources easier. There is a trolley for our playdough station, one for craft and another one for loose parts to enhance our block play. Here we are using them in the classroom.
Another part of our delivery contained special trays to help us segment words to spell them. We choose a picture, make the word using letter tiles/cubes/bricks, then write the word in the sand using our finger.
Finally, exciting times in the hall where we were exploring different ways of moving along the equipment, learning ways to stay safe and how to jump and land safely.
Wonderful work, Reception Class! I have loved spending time with you this week. I think you are all amazing!
